The right half of this photo was used  on the cover of an excellent new book about the role of Camp Rucker, Alabama as one of the largest American centers for infantry training during WWII.

     In the photograph it appears that the men were looking forward to mail call. Does anyone have any more information about this photo? Date? Time? Exact place? Any faces look familiar? Any information would be appreciated....sorry, my technology is not working well enough to show the photo in it’s entirety.
